Work with a Fendt tractor is not only very efficient and easy, but also gentle on your soil. And soil is your capital. All the tractor series boast a low vehicle weight with a high payload. This allows enough room for versatile ballasting options, because the only way to protect soil is with the right ballast. Thanks to VarioGrip, you can adjust tyre pressure quickly and easily and distribute the weight over a larger area. Less air in the tyres, lots of air in the soil. More bars on the tyre make contact at once, so grip increases noticeably. With 13 exclusive Fendt technologies, you protect billions of small organisms, which are responsible for healthy soil and high yields, in every cubic metre of earth.

When driving over a field, weight and driving forces must be supported. This is an enormous stress factor for the soil. Thanks to the time-tested Vario transmission, Fendt tractors can convert high pulling power gently. Since there are no gears to shift and an infinite transmission ratio, there are no abrupt interruptions in traction that could damage the soil, especially during heavy draft work. Tremendous grip is available at all times, while the fine-pored, top structure of the soil is protected sustainably.

Thanks to the front lift with load relief control, the contact pressure of the front-mounted implement is infinitely adjustable and the weight can be transferred to the front axle in all situations. So there is always enough grip available and the sensitive soil is protected reliably.

Thanks to different ballasting options, Fendt tractors can meet all demands. Changing implements and different types of hitches require different weights. At Fendt, even the wheel weights, from 130 kg to 1,250 kg per side, can be mounted and removed easily. Five front weights, which offer the right weight for every application, are available from the factory.

Fendt tractors offer tyre diameters up to 2.35 m. This not only ensures a larger contact area and gentler weight transfer to the ground, it also means there are more bars making contact with the ground at all times. That ensures the plus in traction and the plus in soil protection.

For all Fendt 300/500/700/800/900 and 1000 types Safertractors supplies the Agribumper as a safer, variable frontweight where the fronthitch and PTO remains usable. In Fendt Nature Green, black or normal green color and with Hella LED daytime running lights, indicatorlights, bumpersticks and reflective widthmarkings. With a well-chosen frontweight, you can even save on fuel costs and prevent unnecessary tire wear. If you temporarily do not need any weight, you can quickly and easily remove the special weight blocks. Each Agribumper is variable in weight and the weight blocks are interchangeable between the different models.

If your Fendt tractor has a weight distribution of 40:60, the tractor may occasionally be too light on the front axle and needs a frontweight, for example to plow with a Kverneland 5 furrow plow or a Rabe plow with 6 furrows. Then a standard 1200 kg Pateer frontweight or an original Fendt Agco or Suer or Easymass tractorweight of 1500 kg is often the solution. But you also want to take your Lemken front press or Pöttinger packer to the field in one go. With an Agribumper its possible with weights from 350 to 2000 kg. Unique, safer and striking.

With an Agribumper safe and variable frontweight you can fit any model from our Weight-line series, for example a WL1200 of more than 1200kilo to your Fendt 822/824/826/828 , 927/930/933/936/939/942, 1038/1042/1046/1050 once and assemble the weight easily and quickly so that it always gives the correct front axle pressure. The basic weight is approximately 400 kilos, with a middle weight 700 kilos, Only with left and right side weights more than 900 kilos and 1200 kilos when all weights are in place. For transport with a VGM, Alasko or Beco dumper you usually need 900 kilos of frontweight with a 2 axle. For transport with a heavy 3-axle Miedema or Jan Veenhuis agricultural tipper, 400 kilos can sometimes be enough. If you drive a lot with a manure tank or transporttanker from, for example, Kaweco or Schuitemaker, the Agribumper serves as a tractor bumper.

You want to plow with a frontpress in the same time and this also has to go to the field, preferably in one ride. You simply hang the Lemken frontpress in front of it because the Agribumper allows the use of the frontlinkage and front PTO. But also an Agribumper variable front weight fits between tractor and frontmower with a heavy and wide butterfly or triple mower with conditioner and conveyor belts from for example Krone, Claas, mcHale or Pöttinger. The Fendt 700 series is a relatively light tractor with a high power. With an Agribumper tractorweight, the tractor remains easier to control and the Trimble or Firestar GPS system works better in hills or mountain area. The Agribumper is constructed in such a way that you can operate the lifting arms normally up an down. For a Fendt 700 with original front linkage we offer 2 special 250mm longer linkage arms as option to install and adjust the Agribumper frontweight once for optimum use.

A Frontweight and tractorbumper needs to be approximately 5 to 10 cm narrower than the width of the front tires. If you have a Fendt 300serie / 500serie / 700 serie with original front linkage, our 30 cm narrower Agribumper Base-line series will suit you best. If you have a Zuidberg, Sauter, Laforge, Stemplinger or Degehart front linkage is also possible, but please state this with your order. We offer special attachments for these frontlinkage brands at no extra cost.

If you need more weight but you do not want to / cannot attach fixed system to your tractors, our Heavy 3-line tractor bumper series as a variable and safer frontweight is the solution. Normally hangs in the cat.3 frontlinkage with top link. This 25mm thick steel tractorbumper is heavier than the Fronthitch line and has the same looks and LED lighting with indicator lights, widthmarkings and bumperstick as the other models. The operating weight of the five Fendt 900 machines ranges from just under 25,000 pounds up to 42,000 pounds. Their convenient front mono-block ballasting system, with weights from 1918 pounds. (870 kg) to 5512 pounds (2500 kg), lets the operator quickly re-ballast the tractor for the job at hand. They are compact and agile. The narrow transaxle combined with the pull-in turn action provides a shorter, smoother, more precise turn for better maneuverability in tight spaces and with narrower implements. The maintenance-free double-wishbone front-axle suspension system also provides industry-leading ride comfort and stability on the road. With nearly 8 inches of vertical travel, it also ensures stable ground contact and traction on uneven field terrain.

Like other Fendt products, the Momentum planter can be equipped with a central tire inflation system that automatically adjusts tire pressures from the roadway to the field, deflating the tires as the wings unfold. To reduce yield-robbing soil compaction during planting, the system will automatically adjust tire pressure up or down compensating for the fluctuating weight of the planter as seed and fertiliser are used or replenished.

Operators can select from 2 automated modes. The Load Balance mode equalises the weight across the planter, adjusting based on weight and speed information from sensors on each axle. Without such a system, traditional central-fill planters can cause an 11-bushel/acre loss in corn yield from wheel-traffic compaction in the center vs. wing rows, according to research from Pioneer.

The super compact design of our standard weight block sit largely inside the arms of the tractor with only 100mm protruding in most cases. They can however be reversed to throw the weight further forward and hence provide much more ballast effect.

The second engineering feature setting the Fendt Momentum planter apart is wheel placement. While high-capacity, central-fill seed and fertilizer on many planters offers a time-saving advantage, the added weight creates challenges and contributes to issues such as pinch rows and soil compaction. Instead of side-by-side duals for center transport, wide in-line tandem wheels travel in front of the row units, eliminating pinch rows. The wheels are positioned in the same path as the tractor tires, limiting compaction. The in-line tandem wheels also provide the flotation advantage of tracks and the high road speed of tires.

The Controlled Traffic mode transfers the bulk of the weight to the center section of the planter, practically eliminating the weight on the soil from the wing tires. By concentrating the planter's weight in the tracks made by the tractor, soil compaction is limited.
