How to Access the Builder Base
The Builder Base is a separate island that you can visit from your main base. To do so, you need to repair a broken boat that is located near the shore of your main base. The boat becomes available once you reach Town Hall level 4 in your main base. Repairing the boat costs 50,000 gold and takes 10 seconds. Once you repair it, you can tap on it and sail away to the Builder Base.
When you arrive at the Builder Base for the first time, you will be greeted by a friendly character named Master Builder. He will introduce you to the basics of the Builder Base and guide you through some tutorial missions. You will also receive some free resources and gems to help you get started.
The Master Builder is not only your guide, but also your only builder in the Builder Base. Unlike your main base, where you can have up to five builders working on different projects at once, in the Builder Base you only have one builder who can work on one thing at a time. This means that you need to plan your upgrades carefully and prioritize what you want to build or upgrade first.
How How to Upgrade Your Builder Base
Upgrading your Builder Base is similar to upgrading your main base, but with some key differences. In the Builder Base, you have two main resources: gold and elixir. You can use gold to build and upgrade your defenses, traps, and walls, and you can use elixir to build and upgrade your troops, army camps, and resource collectors. You can also use gems to speed up the building or upgrading process, or to buy more resources.
However, unlike your main base, where you can raid other players as much as you want and collect resources from their storages, in the Builder Base you have a daily loot limit. This means that you can only earn a certain amount of gold and elixir from attacking other players each day. The daily loot limit depends on your Builder Hall level, and it resets every 24 hours. You can see how much loot you have left for the day by tapping on the attack button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
The daily loot limit also means that you don't lose any resources when you are attacked by other players. The only thing that matters is whether you win or lose the battle, which we will explain later. So don't worry about protecting your storages too much, as they are just for show.
Because of the daily loot limit and the single builder, you need to be smart about how you spend your resources and what you upgrade first. A good rule of thumb is to always keep your Builder Hall upgraded to the maximum level possible, as this will unlock new buildings, troops, and features for your Builder Base. Because there are no penalties for rushing in the Builder Base. You don't lose any loot from being attacked by stronger players, and you don't get less loot from attacking weaker players. Instead, you get more benefits from rushing, such as unlocking new buildings, troops, and features that can help you improve your Builder Base faster.
Of course, this doesn't mean that you should neglect your other buildings completely. You still need to upgrade them to a reasonable level to be able to defend and attack effectively. How to Use the Clock Tower and O.T.T.O
The Clock Tower and O.T.T.O are two special buildings that can help you speed up your progress in the Builder Base. They are both unlocked at Builder Hall level 4, but they require some work to fully utilize them.
The Clock Tower is a building that can boost the speed of everything in your Builder Base for a limited time. This includes building and upgrading time, resource production and collection, troop training time, and battle machine regeneration time. You can activate the Clock Tower once every 7 hours for free, or use gems to skip the cooldown. The duration and speed of the boost depend on the level of your Clock Tower.
The O.T.T.O is a robot that can work as a second builder in your Builder Base, or even replace the Master Builder if you want to send him to your main base. However, to unlock O.T.T.O, you need to complete a series of challenges that involve upgrading certain buildings and troops to specific levels. These challenges are:

Upgrade Mega Tesla to level 9
Upgrade Battle Machine to level 30
Unlock Gear Up for all three Home Village defenses (Cannon, Archer Tower, Mortar)
